Our legal expenses cover is administered by DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Limited on our behalf, providing an independent claims handling service and immediate access to a range of information, advice and assistance that can help avoid problems arising in the first place, including:

What's covered:
- Access to free legal advice 24/7
- Employment related legal expenses: disputes relating to your terms of employment, defence for prosecutions against you related to your activities as a worker or an employee, payment of your salary or wages whilst you attend court or a tribunal at our request
- General contract disputes: buying or hiring goods or services, selling goods
- Property related legal expenses: Buying, selling or renting your home, disputes with your landlord relating to rent, someone causing damage to your home, opposing adverse possession claims, opposing a map modification order made by a surveying authority
- Injury legal expenses: specific or sudden incidents causing death or bodily injury
- Clinical negligence: Legal expenses covered for a negligent surgical act or medical procedure causing death or bodily injury
- Personal tax returns: Costs you may incur if HMRC conduct an enquiry into your personal self-assessment tax return
- Motoring offences: Costs for defence for prosecutions relating to the use of a motor vehicle
- Gun certificate protection: Costs to appeal if your certificate is suspended, changed, not renewed or cancelled.
